About Us
JFCM-Mississauga Church is one of the churches of JFCM worldwide planted in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area. It exists to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by bringing people to Christ, training them unto spiritual maturity, equipping them to do ministry and mission, and enabling them to fulfill their calling in life.
What We Believe
- 1. We believe that the BIBLE is the infallible word of God and the absolute authority in matters of faith and conduct.
- 2. We believe that God eternally exists in three distinct persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- 3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Incarnate Word who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary who was a virgin and who died sacrificially for our sins. He was buried, resurrected bodily on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
- 4. We believe that all men have sinned against God and that they are saved solely by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work.
- 5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit of God sent to the church to empower it to live a holy life and to witness the whole world.
- 6. We believe that there is only one church, the body of Christ with Jesus as its head and that all believers in every generation belong to it.
- 7. We believe that the church is tasked by God to preach the gospel to all nations. This it can accomplish by planting churches and supporting missions through tithes and offerings.
- 8. We believe in the rapture of the saints, the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of the body, the judgment of the believers, the judgment of non-believers, and in life everlasting.
- 9. We believe in the ordinances of the Water Baptism and the Breaking of the Bread.
- 10. We believe in the sanctity of marriage – that it is biblical, singular, and exclusively.
Our Ministries
We believe that every member of our church has a unique role to play in fulfilling our mission, and we offer a variety of ministries to help you discover your God-given purpose and make a difference in the world.
Women's MinistryThe Women's Ministry at our church is a vibrant and welcoming community of women who are passionate about growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and supporting one another through the joys and challenges of life. We believe that women have a unique role to play in their families, workplaces, and communities, and we seek to equip them to be confident and courageous followers of Christ.
Youth & Young Adults (YYA)Our Youth and Young Adults Ministry is dedicated to helping young people navigate the challenges of adolescence and discover their identity in Christ. We offer Bible studies, youth groups, and other activities that provide a safe and supportive community for teens as well as our young adults.
Praise & WorshipOur worship ministry is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of praise and adoration for God. We believe that worship is a vital part of our spiritual growth, and we offer opportunities to sing, play music, and participate in other forms of worship.
Men's MinistryOur men's ministry is a community of men who come together to grow in their faith, support each other, and become leaders in their families, workplaces, and communities. Through Bible studies, prayer groups, retreats, and other events, men's ministry provides opportunities for men to connect with one another and pursue God's purposes for their lives.
Children's MinistryWe believe that children are a precious gift from God, and we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn about Jesus. Our children's ministry offers Sunday School classes, vacation Bible school, and other fun activities that help children grow in their faith.
Evangelism MinistryWe believe that serving our community is an important part of our mission as a church. Our outreach ministry provides opportunities to share the love of Christ through acts of service and evangelism.
